Tournament of Champions

It’s the Big Season Finale held at end of each 4-month season (3 events per year).

The blind levels at the TOC are longer and there are more breaks than at the regular weekly tournaments.

Extra starting chips are awarded to all qualified players (who did not convert Bonus Points to Regular Points). The more Bonus Points you have, the more starting chips you receive:

The extra starting chips will equal the number of Bonus Points rounded up to the next hundred.

Example: A qualified player having 3,875 Bonus Points receives a total of 3,900 in extra starting chips.

Additionally, extra starting chips are awarded to the Regular Points leaders:

27,000 extra starting chips are awarded to the overall season Regular Points leader. 18,000 extra starting chips are awarded to the overall season Regular Points leaders at each specific location.

A player who is the Regular Points leader at more than one venue and/or is also the overall season leader is only entitled to one extra starting stack.

The following players shall have 250 Bonus Point bounties placed on them at the TOC: The season’s overall Regular Points Winner, Bonus Points Winner, Each Location Winner, Previous Season’s TOC Champion, Previous Season’s Heads-up Tournament Champion.

These Bonus Points will be applied to the upcoming season’s Bonus Points accumulation.

Are You Qualified to Play This Season?

To qualify, your accumulated points from the season-44 weekly tournaments (Dec 12, 2024 through Apr 10, 2025) are rolled up to determine eligibility for the TOC.
At the close of the last tournament (Thu, Apr 10),
you must have:

You may still be able to qualify by converting Bonus Points to Regular Points. In order to convert:

1. You must have at least 600 Regular Points (which is half of the minimum required Regular Points).

2. You must also have enough total Bonus Points such that after conversion, you still have the minimum 1,200 Bonus Points required for qualification.

You must use double the number of Bonus Points that are needed to make up the difference between your actual Regular Points and the minimum required Regular Points.

For example, if you have 900 Regular Points, which means you need an additional 300 Regular Points, then 600 Bonus Points are required to make the conversion. After taking away 600 points from your Bonus Point total, you must still have at least 1,200 Bonus Points remaining to qualify for conversion.

NOTE: Players who convert Bonus Points will not receive extra starting chips.
